Details / Key Facts

Privet, Ligustrum ovalifolium is a popular choice and is widely grown in urban and surburban gardens. With dense rich green leaves that remain all year round, except in a very hard winter when it may lose some of its foliage (although it will quickly recover in spring), a privet hedge is robust and fast growing, making it ideal for creating hedges and screens.
